Well well well. That’s not a bad result for an unfunded vocal minority is it? Phorm and their atrocious StopPhoulPlay website, all their threats from hefty lawyers and their claims against us, the ordinary folk. All the Phorm efforts, thankfully wasted when they could not spin around the honest truth presented by the mere mortal voters, retired or in work, with few contacts and only minds, pens and keyboards – and solid arguments. Well done to everyone involved, those veteran campaigners and the new ones too. I do not contribute often, except a few letters to key people, but I’m proud to have done so. This is a battle which is far from ended. There are good blogs on the net, even Facebook (of all things!) just searching google or facebook, or the WhatDoTheyKnow site for Phorm returns a wealth of facts (and some of the Phorm spread fiction, my goodness if it was a joke it would be a funny one)
Congratulations to all involved. And does anyone know if BT are to be prosecuted for their part in all this yet?
